Materials and workmanship:

The bed sides are available in two colors: white, painted with a baby-safe paint, and unvarnished hornbeam wood. The rungs are smooth and polished, so they pose no risk to the child. The bed frame is made of solid beech wood. The solid side of the bed is made of MDF slats combined with a double-sided varnished HDF board.
