Astrid i-Size has received a prestigious distinction in tests carried out by the German ADAC institute. In the safety test, the seat achieved as many as 5 stars, which is the highest score possible.
Since the seat can be installed using either the car safety belt or the separately available base, two independent tests were carried out, for each mounting method used. Thanks to its advanced protection solutions, Astrid i-Size achieved the highest star rating, regardless of the installation method.
Child seats tested by ADAC go through four stages of testing, including checks for safety, handling (ease of use), ergonomics, and the presence of harmful substances. It is important to highlight that the scores are tallied based on the German scale, where a lower average score signifies better performance. Astrid i-Size has achieved an impressive total score of 2.2 points, equivalent to 4 stars!

Highest standard of safety
The seat shell is made of PP plastic additionally reinforced with EPP plastic. The material has an exceptionally high strength, capable of withstanding heavy loads without deformation. In addition, it is lightweight and recyclable. The seat is equipped with a 3-point harness with a buckle from the recognised Holmbergs brand.

The seat is compatible with the ISOFIX base, which can be purchased separately, and universal adapters for strollers. The height adjustment of the straps is integrated with the headrest adjustment. A special mechanism allows the straps to be tightened with a single hand pull. The cover is removable and washable, so you can easily keep the seat clean.

The reduction pad comes with the Dri-Seat system to ensure adequate air circulation and prevent the child from sweating.
